Homeopathy is a system of medicine which involves treating the individual person as a whole, using highly diluted substances, with the aim of triggering the body's natural system of healing. Based on their specific symptoms the homeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to each patient.
The homeopath's job is to get a thorough understanding of your health and the exact symptoms you are experiencing so that they can find a homeopathic remedy which matches you and your symptoms as precisely as possible.
During this in-depth case taking process your homeopath will consider all aspects including past medical history, diet and lifestyle. This information is completely confidential.
The remedies are usually given in tablet form.
