ACUPUNCTURE
WHAT IS IT?
From the traditional medicine of China, acupuncture began with the discovery that the stimulation of certain areas of the skin affects the functioning of the internal organs.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
A case history is taken and the body's 12 major organ pulses are taken at the wrist. Treatment is carried out by the insertion of fine, stainless steel, sterile, disposable needles into specific acupuncture points. Sometimes a slight pricking sensation is felt, but otherwise it is a pain-free treatment and it can, in fact, be very relaxing.
